Our Chairman has 35 Years of Excellence in the Foodstuff Industry. He has been the key driving force for the success of Gautam General Trading LLC (GGT) and his skills and expertise have helped achieve rapid growth and accomplished company milestones. His unique business perspective, creativeness and adaptability have resulted in GGT being recognized as the largest distributor of rice in the U.A.E. He believes in the principles of product excellence, action oriented business plans and customer centric business practices and has therefore instilled the same principles in GGT.
MR. GAUTAM AGGARWAL
Managing Director
Our Managing Director has visualized continuing the legacy by bringing new methodologies and practices to the business. He has been providing the best management and marketing skills to his sales team and the senior management. He has played an integral part in developing marketing strategies to increase customer base and market share for the company. He believes in enduring the growth and success of GGT and focuses on visualizing the future path of the company.
Gautam General Trading LLC has visualized itself as being one of the primary suppliers of Basmasti Rice throughout the Middle Eastern market. GGT aims to provide its customers with superior quality products through effective business practices such as continuous improvements to products and services.

We commit ourselves to providing impeccable quality at very stage, that is, from production to delivery. We have our inspection team that checks the quality at 3 stages, that is, at the factory, at the warehouse and prior to customer delivery to help us maintain our supreme quality.

Our Basmati Rice
GGT offers an extensive range of brands that have been carefully developed to deliver authentic flavors that go well with a variety of popular cuisines. The rice is matured for period of two years before being processed, then prepared at a state-of-the-art treatment plant that preserves all its purity in perfect hygienic conditions.
Grain Quality
Our grains elongate to twice their original raw size, have a soft & fluffy texture and is matured for a period of 2 years.
Aroma
Basmati when translated from Hindi, means “Queen of Fragrance” alluding to its aromatic flavor, our grains have captivating and elegant aroma which have won hearts of millions across our territory, as well as globally. A delight for your sensory nerves.
Cooking
When cooked long, slender grain comes out distinct from the other without sticking and makes for the perfect visual treat , in one phrase it is a basmati beyond compare.
Packaging
To preserve the quality & wholesomeness of our rice, we pack our grains with the goodness of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fibers and overall our packaging offers protection against environmental and mechanical hazards.

Sh. Gurbux Rai Aggarwal and Sh. Hari Ram Aggarwal diversified into rice manufacturing therefore forming the company Punjab Rice Land Private Limited.
Manufacturing facility inaugurated in Tarn Taran – Punjab (India) covering 1,000,000 sq. ft. hence becoming the largest composite rice mill in the region.
Rajiv Aggarwal and Sanjiv Aggarwal, the sons of the founders, continued the legacy of Punjab Rice Land through product excellence, best practices and dedication to create and maintain long-term fruitful relationships with the customers.
From a medium size company, Punjab Riceland Private Limited is poised to become a primary leader in the food products business, in India, and in the International Market.
Sanjiv Aggarwal visualized to diversity into the GGC markets by opening its 1st international office ‘Gautam General Trading LLC (GGT)’ in Dubai, U.A.E.
GGT extended business to the surrounding Middle Eastern countries such as Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, etc. In some of these countries GGT has opened offices for distribution where as in the remaining countries, GGT conducts business through their associates.
GGT has constructed a warehouse and processing plant at Kandla Port, Gujarat for smooth operations of container loading. Further a procurement division has been opened in Mumbai, under the name of Gautam Grain Stores for South Indian varities of rice.
Gautam Aggarwal, son of Sanjiv Aggarwal, continued the legacy by introducing new methodologies and practices to the existing firm.
GGT LLC further expanded into the East African region under the name of Gatkom Limited.
Further expansion into GCC markets.
